BBL Photo Rejuvenation

IS THIS PROCEDURE FOR ME?
This laser procedure is best for those wanting to restore their skin and address fine lines and wrinkles, rosacea redness and flushing, solar lentigines, age spots, pigmentation, Port wine stains and birthmarks. There are many treatments available at Advanced Aesthetics to treat a variety of skin conditions. Your nurse will consult with you to discuss your specific needs and required outcomes and advise the best laser treatment for you.

WHAT IS THIS PROCEDURE?
The light energy delivered by the BBL gently heats up the upper layers of skin. The heat absorbed by the targeted areas stimulates your skin cells to generate new collagen. This laser treatment is gentle, non-invasive and safe, with minimal discomfort and downtime.

WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT?
This generation of new collagen as a result of BBL treatment, allows your skin to restore itself naturally, removing blemishes, pigmentation, age spots and other skin conditions, resulting in smoother, vibrant and younger looking skin. It usually requires two to five treatments at two to four weekly intervals.

Emerge non-invasive laser

IS THIS PROCEDURE FOR ME?
The Emerge can improve challenging scars, deep wrinkles and pigmentation, and improve the tone and texture in many skin types and areas. There are many treatments available at Advanced Aesthetics to treat a variety of skin conditions. Your nurse will consult with you to discuss your specific needs and required outcomes and advise the best treatment for you.

WHAT IS THIS PROCEDURE?
The laser uses a non-ablative technique to stimulate gradual skin tightening, which causes less skin damage than an ablative laser and requires less time for the body to heal. A topical anaesthetic can be used, however many people tolerate the treatment without.

WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT?
Your skin will be refreshed and have a smoother and more youthful appearance. There is minimal downtime. Typically, you will need three to four treatments at three to four weekly intervals to achieve the best possible results.

Laser Facial Photorevelation

IS THIS PROCEDURE FOR ME?
The laser facial improves large pores, acne scarring, pigmentation, and delivers a luminosity and youthful glow to your skin. Perfect for before a special occasion, there is no downtime or discomfort during or after this laser skin treatment. There are many treatments available at Advanced Aesthetics to treat a variety of skin conditions. Your nurse will consult with you to discuss your specific needs and required outcomes and advise the best treatment for you.

WHAT IS THIS PROCEDURE?
A laser facial combines a medical grade microdermabrasion with photo-revelation offering a comfortable rejuvenating laser treatment.

WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT?
After this treatment, your skin will be noticeably improved with a smoother more youthful appearance and the elimination of large pores, acne scarring or pigmentation. Typically, you will need four to six treatments at four-weekly intervals to achieve the optimum result.

Laser Hair Removal

IS THIS PROCEDURE FOR ME?
Excess hair can be distressing when it appears in places such as the stomach, face, back or bikini line. Even ‘everyday’ hair such as legs and armpits can be frustrating to eliminate with techniques such as shaving or waxing. Laser hair removal offers a permanent solution to this unwanted hair.

WHAT IS THIS PROCEDURE?
Different skin types (lighter skin, darker skin, sensitive skin etc) require different laser machines. Advances Aesthetics uses BBL and ND Yag 1064 laser machines for hair removal and will assess your skin type and it’s requirements at your initial appointment. Your Advanced Aesthetics nurse can advise you on which machine will achieve your desired hair removal results most effectively.

WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT?
No matter which machine you use, you can expect to need between six and ten treatments at four to six weekly intervals. After the six to ten laser hair removal treatments, the hair will be removed permanently, leaving you with a smooth and hair-free area.

HIFU

WHAT IS HIFU?
HIFU stands for High Intensity Focused Ultrasound. It is a non-surgical procedure used for improving wrinkles and lifting and tightening sagging skin. It is used on the forehead, brows, eyelids, lower face (jawline) and neck.

WHAT DOES HIFU DO?
HIFU uses ultrasonic energy to penetrate deep below the skin and fat layer of the face, targeting the connective tissue. Connective tissue is the firm layer of tissue that supports the neck and facial contours. It is the tissue that plastic surgeons tighten during a face or brow lift. Ageing causes connective tissue to sag. HIFU tightens sagging connective tissue, creating firmness and lifting sagging skin.

HIFU helps the skin to produce fresh, new collagen. Over a period of 2 to 3 months, the old collagen is replaced with new collagen that has a higher level of elasticity. As the collagen building continues, the results from HIFU will be continue to improve. Some people so immediate initial effects; however, the ultimate lifting will be visible over the following months.

HOW IS HIFU DIFFERENT TO LASERS?

Lasers treats issues in the superficial layers of the skin, such as fine lines, wrinkles, and pigment changes. HIFU addresses the deep skin and foundational layers that lift and support the skin. The two procedures work very well together.

HOW MANY HIFU SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

Most patients will need one or possibly two treatments; however, depending on their skin’s laxity and their body’s own response to the process.
